Note: Class length will vary with the experience and number of students. These are hands on classes in which you will practice doing the life saving actions. They include lecture, video and hands on practice.

ASHI Certification cards will be issued upon successful completion of the course. If you are required to take these classes for your job, a written exam will be administered in addition to the skills evaluation. All knowledge required is included in the student handbooks which contain more reference info and procedures than are included in the class.

In order to keep the class fees low for everyone, student handbooks will be available for use in the classroom. They may also be purchased separately to take home for reference. Free digital books are available for most classes.

Emergency Medical Response and EMR Challenge require that you purchase the latest EMR Student Manual (Emergency Medical Responder Student Book (Brady) 10th Edition) from the ASHI Store. You must read the book before the class to prep for the written exam.
